Dr. Wilhelmenia Rembert

Dr. Rembert comes to Countryside from Winthrop University where she was a Professor and Associate Vice President for Graduate Studies and a former Dean of the College of Education. She has served on the Mecklenburg Country Board of Commissioners, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Board of Education and Central Piedmont Community College Board of Trustees. She was named one of the 51 Most Influential Women in Charlotte by Pride Magazine.

Dolores joined Countryside in 1991 and has served extended years in each Lower, Upper and MIddle School programs as Lead Teacher. She joined the Administrative Team as Director of Curriculum and Instruction in 2012. She is currently involved in Montessori Forward, a North Carolina coalition group to change policy and state regulations toward a more Montessori informed environment. Prior to a teaching career, Dolores was a Municipal Bond Trader for a major bank for over ten years.

Janice has been a member of the Countryside Faculty for over 20 years teaching in the Toddler community. She became Assistant Administrator in 2012 and Preschool Administrator in 2013. Janice is also Teacher Trainer for the North Carolina Center for Montessori Teacher Education.
Nick Nichols

Prior to joining Countryside in 1998, Nick spent nine years working with YMCAs in Mississippi. After arriving in Charlotte in 1993, Nick worked as program director for the University City YMCA. While there he worked closely with Countryside in developing athletic programs for the school.
