A balanced operating budget is important in order to assure the financial viability of the school, but the real purpose of the funds raised through this year’s One Fund campaign is to provide One Dream of an enhanced education to every Countryside Montessori student. Donate securely online today to support the One Fund.
Why not charge the full amount of a child's education and not have the One Fund?
1. The One Fund is just one of the ways we keep tuition increases low. In doing so we are able to offer an affordable Montessori education to a diverse group of students.
2. The One Fund establishes relationships with donors. Equally, high parent participation signals to foundations that its parents are vested in the school and increases our chances of receiving outside funding.
3. Your gift is 100% tax-deductible; tuition is not.
What has the One Fund supported?
Over $73,000 was raised over the last three years which allowed us to.......
**add safety gates and extended fencing at PC campus
**purchase computer hardware and software upgrades
**improve recycling services
**supply laptop computers and graphing calculators to middle school
**provide Montessori training opportunities for staff
**purchase a StarBoard and projector
**support website and database upgrades
**host educational speakers for parents and staff
**provide field trip support
**build an outdoor classroom
**purchase toddler house tumble mats
**cover sandboxes at PC campus with sunscreen pavilions
**install divider walls in classrooms
** replace outdoor pavilion at the MC campus
What does the One Fund support?
1. Learning outside the Classroom
Environmental and outdoor education includes maintaining gardens and the certified School Habitat Program. Campus beautification projects and recycling programs cultivate pride, responsibility and care for the school environment and the world. Providing outdoor equipment for safe play helps children develop large-motor skills. Class field trips take Countryside students beyond the classroom on experiential learning adventures. In addition to supplementing curriculum, class trips enable students to learn independence, group dynamics, and foster relationships that extend beyond typical student-teacher boundaries.
