Giving to Countryside Montessori School offers students the educational experience they deserve.  Most contributors are parents, grandparents, community members, faculty and staff, alumni and others who understand and appreciate the importance of making available quality educational opportunities. In order for us to keep tuition increases to a minimum, several options for giving are available. All levels of support are necessary to expand the possiblities for our students.

 

The One Fund campaign is Countryside Montessori School’s annual fundraising campaign. It is the foundation for the school’s sustainable fundraising activities.Experience indicates that it is difficult to consistently secure larger gifts for special projects and capital purposes or to build an endowment without a strong annual fund that has widespread and generous support for the total constituency of the school. Every Charlotte area independent school, in addition to many public schools, is fully engaged in an annual fund program.
Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of educating students in independent schools such as Countryside. The annual fund provides the School with the essential operating dollars that bridge the gap between our tuition income and the full cost of providing a quality education for our students.

 
THE LEGACY CAMPAIGN
The goal of the Legacy Campaign is to raise $1million to support the 5-Year Strategic Plan and the building of the Arts & Athletic Center for the entire school system. The Center will accomodate a state-of-the-art gymnasium, performance stage, cafeteria, office space, and locker rooms.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Fundraising events are a great way to build relationships with our parents, alumni and community members. The Gala Auction and Golf Outing help support the general operating funds and scholarships of the School. 
 
METHODS OF GIVING

Cash, Credit, Checks, Online
Countryside has a secure link for individuals to make a gift online. Follow the simple form and you can be assured your transaction will be safe and designated to one of our giving programs. A confirmation email will be sent to you immediately following your transaction.

Gifts of Stocks and Bonds
Special tax advantages are provided with gifts of securities.

Planned Gifts
There are many options available for families and individuals to increase their tax savings, give added support to their families’ financial futures, and at the same time providing a legacy gift to Countryside. Reducing the size of a taxable estate can also be done through a bequest or future gift in a will, estate or through life insurance. If you have made provisions for a planned gift, please make us aware so that we may acknowledge your generosity.

Matching Gifts
Matching Gift Programs are available at many businesses. It is not uncommon for companies to double or even triple the value of an employee’s charitable contribution to Countryside. To begin search a matching gift database to see if your company particpates then contact your personnel office to obtainthenecessary forms.
