Teacher Continuing Education Center

The Countryside Montessori School Continuing Education Center, established in 2001, is an outgrowth of Countryside Montessori School. Located near the University Research Park and UNC Charlotte, the school has become a leader in the region. Countryside was instrumental in founding the Montessori Society of Charlotte in 2000.
 
The Center is located on the Mallard Creek Road campus in Charlotte. The campus has large beautifully equipped Montessori environments, a full gymnasium, and is adjacent to a greenway that runs for miles along Mallard Creek. The Center is based on respect for the children we teach and our Montessori roots.
 
The Center is dedicated to providing continuing education and support for teachers, staff and volunteers within a Montessori setting. Workshops are offered throughout the year, including Montessori philosophy, child development and various areas of curriculum development.
